New Riders
If you or your child are interested in starting horseback riding, look no further!
We offer beginner riding lesson for all ages - from 2 to 92!
All new riders start off with a FREE introductory lesson. This allows you to come visit the farm, meet your instructor and the horses and have a free lesson, all with no cost to you or commitment on your part. If you enjoy the lesson, simply book one of the following lessons on a weekly or bi weekly basis.
Beginner 1/2 Hour - $30 - We offer beginner 1/2 hour lessons for young children that find an hour too long. Approx. 10 minutes of the lesson are focused on brushing and helping tack up the pony. The other 20 minutes are spent riding. Ages for the 1/2 hour lesson are usually 2-5 but you know your child best so we leave this up to you!
Beginner Hour - $40 - Our beginner hour is for everyone else, approx. 6 years of age and up. Half your time will be spent in the barn learning horsemanship such as brushing, tacking and leading a horse. The other half of your time will be spent on the horse or pony, learning the basic skills of horseback riding. All beginner lessons start off as private lessons and move into semi private or small groups (no more than 3) when the instructor deems a certain level of ability and safety has been reached.
